Let’s take a Snow Dey
I really enjoyed this audiobook. The narrators, Joel Leslie and Philip Alces bring the characters of Snow Dey and Christopher Manos to life.
The story begins with a shout of alarm as Christopher’s nephew, Simon is being kidnapped and roughed up by Roy and Bull, two members of the Solkolov crime family, direct adversaries of Christopher Manos’ crime family. And then the action continues from there as Snow, a street kid, finds a family, finds love, and finds redemption with Christopher Manos and his gang. Joel Leslie is delivers Snow’s snark and sass, brilliantly, and Philip Alces has a good time with Christoper’s Boss attitude, and slight bewilderment as he gets to know more about Snow and his background.
Christoper rescues Snow, and Snow returns by bringing light and joy into Chris’ life as he also finds a place with the rest of the crime family.
The story doesn’t drag, and I’ve listened to it three times, and will listen to it again.

DNF narration is horrific
The guy who narrates Snow sounds like he's doing an impression of a dumb orc from California. Why does it sound like he's struggling to mumble around a pair of fake fangs? Snow doesn't have fangs? Why does it sound like he's standing outside in freezing weather and shivering violently? Why are all of his "s" sounds "sh" sounds? What about any of this seemed like a good idea?
The other narrator sounds like Laurence Fishburne.
Honestly, this could be the greatest story ever written and I still wouldn't be able to get past the voices.
