About this listen
I’m being sold to my father’s biggest creditor to pay off his debts.
Why the heck did I agree to such a thing?
Because they promised to spare my sister, and I made a deathbed promise to my mom to always keep her safe.
So, I’m resigned to my fate. As long as I get to spend one last weekend at my late Grandma Jo’s little mountain cabin—the place where I felt closer to my dreams than I’ll ever be again.
Four days of peace and solitude, before my life is no longer mine.
Then Jaxton Faulkner shows up. Raw, half-naked, eyes on fire.
I've never seen him before, but he seems to be obsessed with me.
He insists that we belong together. That he'll protect me from everyone and everything.
But when we get snowed in by the blizzard, and it’s just him and me in this cozy little cabin, will the truth send him running like hell—Or will he go full on grizzly, and destroy anything that stands in his way?
This is a steamy insta-love romance, featuring an obsessed, possessive hero. If you love forced-proximity stories with all the cozy, wintry, roaring-fire feels, you’ll love Jaxton and Rowan's story!
Tons of heat, dirty talk and a sweet HEA, of course!

Narrator only good half the time
When the narrator is doing the female POV she's a strong 7 out of 10. But the second she switches to the male POV it drops drastically to a 2, maybe 3 at best. She's so overly dramatic in a cringy way. At first, I thought it was the writing, but then I picked up the ebook and while it's OTT (over the top on purpose the way this genre is supposed to be) it's not cringy the way she makes it sound. It kind of ruins the story.
