I enjoyed this book. You are spirited away to a different time and place. The characters are easy to follow (especially when you have to put your book down). I can’t wait to hear the next book to see what happens in their lives. The performance was great as well. I feel that I gained some knowledge about Chinese culture especially the rural area.
