Publisher's Summary

On the 10th anniversary of a profound loss, comedian Michael Cruz Kayne felt compelled to describe his feelings of grief in 140 characters or less. Much to his surprise, more than 200,000 people responded in solidarity from all corners of the globe. Overwhelmed by the response, the Late Show with Stephen Colbert writer and host of A Good Cry created Sorry for Your Loss, a sidesplitting, heartrending look at life—and death. This powerfully personal production, recorded live from the Minetta Lane Theatre, cuts through the platitudes, directly reaching out to anyone who has ever experienced loss—or will. So...everyone.

Now available in Dolby Atmos on Audible.

Well written- humour is so needed while grieving

Having lost 2 sisters and a niece, all unexpected, one each year for the past 3 years, I've tried to deal with the loss of them as well as another sister 10 years ago (and parents long before then). I've read as well as listened to stories on grieving and death and this author helps show us that it's ok to laugh while dealing with death of a loved one. I'm so glad that our parents taught us the importance of laughter through any situation.

Gut wrenching and funny…

Hard to believe that it can be both, but it is.
Writing and talking about the hard stuff is medicine for all of us.

A beautiful reflection on grief, loss, and how we carry on

Michael Cruz Kayne impeccably describes the way our loved ones live on through us. With humour, introspection, and adoration for his family, Kayne brought me a degree of closure regarding my own Dad’s death. He died 16 years ago. He is a particle, and a wave. Thank you Michael. Thank you Fish.

Meh...

Not engaging in any way, for me. I didn't bother to finish it, even though it's only 1 hr, 23 mins
