About this listen
Courtney Carver shows us the power of simplicity to improve our health, build more meaningful relationships, and relieve stress in our professional and personal lives.
We are often on a quest for more, giving in to pressure every day to work more, own more, and do more. For Courtney Carver, this constant striving had to come to a stop when she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. Stress was like gasoline on the fire of her symptoms, and it became clear that she needed to root out the physical and psychological clutter that were the source of her debt and discontent.
In this book, Carver shows us how to pursue practical minimalism so we can create more with less - more space, more time, and even more love. She invites us to look at the big picture, discover what's most important to us, and reclaim lightness and ease by getting rid of all the excess things.

One big permission slip for letting go!
First off, I do not typically write book reviews but for this one, I'll make an exception.
Everything Courtney writes in this book resonates with me on such a deep level.
It's a book I continue to go back to again and again to clear my head, realign my priorities and calm my heart.
This book will make you feel at peace. It is one big permission slip to let it all go. All of the nonsense, all of the useless societal expectations and all that excess clutter that's weighing is down.
I guarantee you don't even know how heavy it all is until you let it go.
Get this book. It's a life changer!

Loved it!
Very inspirational book! It provides both a "story" part where you get to know what the author went through and tips to improve your life. The narration by the author is also very good.

loved this! so much more than minimalism!
I was honestly expecting another book telling me to declutter my closet and my life would get better. This book offers so much more! I really enjoyed how down to earth and practical her advice is. I've definitely walked away from this book with a different perspective.

Simply a great read
Highly recommend this book for anyone struggling with life being over complicated. I initially read it for help with pairing down my belongings but it ended up helping with more. #Audible1

Already recommending this book to others.
I stumbled across this book during another search and under other titles you might enjoy. I was curious and read other reviewer comments and played the sample to see if I could handle the narrators voice (which is critical to enjoyment). The voice was great and one other reviewer comment was "if you enjoy Brene Brown, Liz Gilbert, you'll love this book. That was the hook for me. To be compared to two authors of whom I've read every single book they've written, I thought - ok I'll give it a try. This could have easily been a binge one day listen....but I did need to go to work, so managed it in two. This book could not be more perfectly times for me in my minimalism journey. I had never heard of Courtney Carver - best stumble EVER.

Life changing
This book put things into perspective for me. Realizing it is time to declutter and fill my life with more connection and experiences instead of stuff to fill voids.

Gentle reminder yet significant
I learned about this book through one of my favourite podcast, The Productive Woman. Courtney was the guest for one of her episodes and after listening to her interview, I wanted to find out more about Courtney and her story.
I think this is kind of book I want to read(listen for Audible) one chapter at a time, not whole book at one go. Maybe it is just me but I think I need a constant reminder for the message this book trying to deliver.
Thank you Courtney for introducing this book to the world, I will visit again and again
