Publisher's Summary

And so it has come to this.

The star cluster is awash with the blood of those whose lives have been spent by two men maneuvering fleets like pieces across a chessboard.

Only one man can come out on top: Thatcher or Moll.

But when a victor finally emerges, what will it mean? What solace can truly be taken by those left over, those whose very lives have been wrecked by a war of unrivaled carnage?

Surely someone will be left to pick up the pieces. Someone with the vision to make all of this mean something.

For Thatcher's part, he can only do what he was made to do.

Win. At all costs.

Spacers, Part 5 contains Book Nine: Dead Ahead through to the end of Book 10: Storm Break.

The ending was terrible

I enjoyed everything, this book and the whole series, right up to the ending. The ending felt rushed and like the author got bored/ realized he’d bitten off more than he could chew/ didn’t know how to wrap things up and just cut bait at the end. The author note at the end just added insult to injury and doesn’t help to do anything but confirm there won’t be any additional books. Don’t blame the Reader for not “getting it” or being picky or “not smart enough”. Own your own faults as a writer.
Ugh.
I have listened to dozens and dozens of audio books over the last . . . 6? years and never written a review until now. I’m fine with flawed heroes and not getting a happy ending to the story, but this was exceptionally disappointing.

Very strange

Well that was interesting once I got my head around time.
The ending I was not expecting so I will rethink my next purchase from this author. But overall the series was enjoyable.
