About this listen

In this work, the well-known apologist Sir Robert Anderson examines spiritual phenomena like glossolalia by searching the Bible and taking history into account.

He argues that the theology of the "gift of tongues movement" reveals enormous ignorance and that it perverts Scripture. As an example, he cites Pentecost and how the glossolalists’ observance of it subordinates the core events to secondary ones of limited worth.

Glad this excellent book is available

an excellent book with many highly quotable lines. I'm so glad it's available in audio format and thankful to the narrator for producing it. that being said the quality of the narration is poor. the narrator seems to be speaking in an unnatural voice that is somewhat deeper than he is comfortable with. when he is quoting another person his voice becomes much more normal.
