About this listen
Powers are determined by geographic birth locations, and only the rich and powerful are permitted access to prized sites. SC is the first person born in space.
The punishment for unauthorized births is death. Out of fear, SC keeps his strange abilities as his darkest secret. He pretends to be nothing more than a mere Regular while his peers develop unique powers, varying from controlling lightning to producing diamond-hard skin. But when his mother is kidnapped by an unknown organization, SC has no choice but to act.
SC ventures into a school of talented students to learn to fight, where he must learn to master his powers without revealing their true nature. But soon he realizes that the school is more than it appears and that it may hold the secret to his missing mother. To rescue her, he will have to reveal powers never before seen in all of history.
By award-winning author Leonard Petracci, a master of tension and suspense.

narration sound is poorly equalized.
NARRATION:
the voice actor here will speak so low i cant understand whats being said, then all of a sudden he'll raise his voice (since i couldnt hear him i had the volume up significantly). It ends up giving me an ear and headache.
STORY:
the story seems interesting, so I plan on picking up the actual book.
I never got through the book due to the voice actor. I've managed to get further into an audio book with a narrator that smaked his lips every second sentence (although all i had been able to focus on was the wettness of his mouth and how much it irritated me) than i managed with this one.
Might just be me, i hope others enjoy this book. the concept is interesting. reminds me of super powerds year 1-4 in a way.

Fell short of potential
I felt that his story had the potential to become an above average book. However, the back story was week and the quality of the writing and character development was substandard. 4/10 book
