I enjoyed it

Bv Larson is one of my favorite sci fi authors and I really like Mark Boyett as the narrator. Other sci fi series I find hard to follow as I dont always like the narrator.

Very entertaining.

The narrator is awesome. It couldn't have been performed better.

The story is fantastic. The book is well-written.

BUT... This author, in my opinion, has a weird way with female characters. I was many many books into the Undying Mercenaries books (his) before I realized his hero characters goes back and forth having sex with any women in his books. Actually, when he had his second sex scene in this book, I actually looked up the author and sure enough it was the same author as Undying Mercenaries. If you don't mind that he goes back and forth between women in the books for ex scenes that are very awkward, then by all means, this is great. For me, it seems he only adds women in his stories so he can prove he can write "he admired her shape and they made love"... it just feels really unnecessary because he doesn't flesh out any of these female characters. They just come and go, he beds another, then goes through the list again. I stopped Undying Mercenaries at book 8 because it just got worse with "young cadets..." and will personally stop this saga here because the same thing us happening again.

His storyline is amazing! If he didn't have these weird sex scenes that seem to get into every book, I would be his biggest fan.
