Great stories, horrible narration

I thoroughly enjoyed the first two audiobooks with one exception. The narration is horrid. The narrator is reading a book out loud, and not all that well. The stories themselves are great in the sense that there are lots of twists and turns. The first few chapters of the first book are a bore but after that they get pretty good. I would have paid for the rest of the series if the narrator changed at some point but it as it stands now, it's a solid no.

If you have issues with vocal fry...

the narrator's vocal fry is like nails on chalkboard. I just can't.
I have no idea what the story was about, so can't really review it honestly.

There is nothing to recommend this book. Poor writing, a heroine who quite honestly is obnoxious, no plot. I tried and tried to listen but I just can’t.
