There was nothing I did not like about this book. I thought it was amazing from beginning to end, and as the last in the trilogy, it was my absolute favourite! All of the books written by this author were beautifully written and executed. I believe the narrators were chosen with the same care and thoughtfulness with which the books were written.

I love that the author takes the time at the end of each book to provide an overview of the enormous amount of groundwork, research and historical perspectives that were interwoven into the writings. I appreciate the links for additional information on the history behind these books she provided as well.

I also love the sound of Martha Kelly’s own voice which is gentle and soothing and genuine. I have watched some of her interviews post the first two books and she demonstrates warmth, honesty and humility and I believe she herself, is like the ‘Woolsey Women’, is an amazing person and was meant to write these books. In my opinion, she is one of the most talented authors of our time. Thank you so much for your gift.❤️

Loved this one best of the three, but a bit sad the trilogy is over. I really like how Martha Hall Kelly reads the authors note.

Very enjoyable read. Narration was very good and the historical parts were very interesting.. so sad to read how we humans treat each other …
