To sort it all out, she accepts his invitation to visit his home planet. House Krahr is extremely influential and Maud knows that a woman - a human, with a very questionable past - who's turned down a proposal from its most beloved son won't get a warm reception. Maybe she’s not sure about marrying Arland, but House Krahr isn’t going to decide for her. Maud Demille has never run from a fight, and House Krahr will soon discover that there's a lot more to Maud than they’re expecting.

Loved it
I really enjoyed the depth of this female character, the refreshing lack of sexism and the functional relationship. yay. I listened to it twice in a row.

Love this series
I absolutely love the Innkeepers Chronicles series, it has become one of my all time favourites.
The narrator is good and fun but it did take a little getting uses to her accents and voice as the 1st three books were narrated by someone else.

Great. Just great.
Amazing, but then again, all Ilona Andrews books are. I loved the new narrator for Maud's story, at first Arland's accent pulled me out of it, however, that's bound to happen with any male character that you've read before and imagined sounding differently.

One wild ride!
This amazing story keeps you coming back for more! The intensity increases steadily throughout the book. I really hope they make this into an audio drama!

to much unnecessary details for unimportant things
very hard to enjoy with page fillers....and i prefer the other narrator.... disappointing.
