About this listen

Ten years ago, deep within a rift, a choice was granted.

Defeat the Demon King and end the apocalypse.

Or take his power for themselves and keep the rifts open.

Sloan chose an ending.

His party turned against him. They killed him.

They split his legacy and belongings amongst themselves.

They hid the truth. They profited.

Those heroes who betrayed the world.

Now he’s back.

Reborn. Reincarnated in a world where the system is life.

Reborn in a world of rift breaks and monsters spawning while so called heroes control sectors like overlords.

Rank by rank he’ll climb….

To take back what was stolen from him.

His life.

So, you want to know more? This is the story of a man out of time, appearing ten years after his death within a rift. Armed with a cheat skill, he’ll grow stronger and stronger as a Spellblade and summoner. Mixing post-apocalypse with magical realism and LitRPG flair, System Reborn is an easy LitRPG Adventure to pick up while waiting for the next big release

total rip off of solo leveling

as said above it is a rip off of solo leveling but with a slower pace.
that being said it is still a good story and while the pace is on the slower side it personally just makes me want more.

Slow

this book is short and it still feels so slow. I get that he's trying to hide being a summoner but why? are there no others? why not go ahead of the rest with his shadows to look around, instead of being shocked and losing people? he acts like he's as new to this as any one else

too many inconsistencies

the inconsistencies are
1. the author forgot the main characters back story so says things like this nothing to a former theif when it was said a few times early on the he used to be a swordsman and talk a little about how cool his sword was

2. not a real problem but a little annoying is that they had their math off not by much but still

3. the characters personality doesn't really fit his back story about being the only one willing to give up his powers for the safety of the human race considering that he kills people when he doesn't really need to. As well as when he keeps smiling when he goes to kill monsters even tho he keeps saying how much he doesn't like it because it killed so many friends that could be him being vindictive but it isn't really explained.

4.  Mixes up the mc's weapon whether its a knife or sword

things I dislike
1. he gets into all of the issues with no explanation given for it. its only ever the mc that has this problem it doesn't say stuff like the rifts are getting more dangerous or anything and almost none of his rift experience are normal except the ones that are skipped which means over half of his experiences in dungeons are not the norm.

2. The writing makes the reader sound a little bad

3. all potential allies in combat die which enforces the alone warrior thing

4. it takes decent amount of the story from solo leveling
