Publisher's Summary
Torin Mardak came to Zarhab Groht to hunt. Some idiot's been selling Callidum weapons on the black market, and he's been tasked with finding the traitor.
The illegal trading station isn't exactly Torin's favorite place in the Nine Galaxies. It's dirty, chaotic, and full of thieves and murderers, but as an elite Kordolian First Division warrior, he's the most dangerous thing on this floating cesspit, and he won't let anything stand in his way.
But when he encounters a group of humans who really, really shouldn't be here, his priorities might just have to change, because one of them is about to get betrayed in the worst possible way....
And she just so happens to be exactly his type.
Contains mature themes.

glad it's short
Not sure if this is supposed to be funny or not? Doesn't know what a duck is but knows the work of Monet? Knows the basics of Greek mythology but doesn't comment on her name being Persephone? Serenity now? Resistance is futile? Entertaining but would not recommend or read again.

Great story, bad narrator.
The narrator's intake of breath after each sentence ruined this story, otherwise it would have been great. I don't understand why some people can't breathe through their nose instead or can't take a quite breath. This should have been noticed right away and a different narrator picked so it's not really his fault but still. I have listened to over 320 book's so far and only a few narrator's did that so I know it's not normal or wanted from any narrator. 5 star story reduced to 3 stars because of the narrator, which is the most important thing in an audiobook.
