When a main character is annoying

By far, the best thing about this book is Kirt Graves. I don't know if I would have fnished the book otherwise. It was just SO exhausting to be in Marvin's head for the whole book. Marvin is adorable, don't get me wrong, but he is SO much in his head, and we are in it with him at all times and it became utterly annoying. And that is coming from me, a reader who has chronic anxiety! So I definetely get where he is coming from. But maybe it was the way it was written that made him too much? I honestly think this story would have benefited from a dual POV.
