Publisher's Summary

Psychologist Margot Scott has a picture-perfect life: a nice house in the suburbs, a husband, two children and a successful career.

On a warm spring morning Margot approaches one of her clients on a busy train platform. He is looking down at his phone, with his duffel bag in hand as the train approaches. That’s when she slams into his back and he falls in front of the train.

Margot’s clients all lie to her, but one lie cost her family and freedom.

A fast-paced psychological thriller for fans of The Silent Patient.

A good listen

The story was good enough that I wanted to keep listening to it and find out who the culprit was, but I had a difficult time empathizing with the protsgonist. The therapy patients were my favorite part- interesting and well fleshed out.

Wow! Unexpected ending, charged story

Even though this is a shorter book, the author was able to artfully take twists and turns and bring this to a surprising conclusion.
The narrator was adept at changing accents and voices so we could keep track.

Good read

Really enjoyed this book. Although you know who the bad guys are, you don't really know who all the bad guys are.

Good one!!

This novel, Tell Me Lies, written by J. P. Pomare, and well narrated by Aimee Horne, was irritating me from the beginning for the stupid decisions the protagonist was making; but I kind of pushed myself on, thinking that's how you're going to get the conflict, of course. I felt I was in for a stereotypical storyline. However, I was very happy and surprised to learn that I was wrong! There was a reason for the protagonist's decisions, and by the time I got to the twists at the end, I was able to think back on all those hints that were laid for me! Well done! Highly recommended! On to 'Home Before Midnight'!

Plot Twist!

I was looking for a book that I couldn't stop listening to and this was one of them. Aimee Horne was great in delivering the story.

Definitely Worth a Listen

Overall, I thought this was well done. The narrator did a great job and I loved the fact that anytime there was a phone call, they altered the audio to make it sound more like the listener was hearing someone at the other end of a phone call.

I don't know that it was a really GREAT novel, but it maintained my interest right till the very end. I would say that it's good if you're getting to listen to it for free but not sure I'd want to use one of my credits for it.
