Some good ideas, but not quite a whole program

There are a lot of good ideas, and interesting ones in this book. However, some of the ideas presented are a bit of a stretch. I’m going to give it a try for four weeks though the diet and the exercise, and see how it goes.

Interesting but odd directions

Definitely some useful information and actionable life improvements. That being said, this book went in odd directions with overly technical jargon at times.

Not All Info Accesible

I like the info that is given and the narrator has a great voice. But, the PDF is not accessible which is really irritating and disappointing. Especially when following a regime, workout, food intake or anything of that nature. It is easier to have something to look at. So this wasn't the best purchase.

Gets pretty technical

Not sure what I was expecting but Tim goes pretty technical into things which may work for some but not others.

It was a quick listen and was inspiring to make even the smallest change. There were some great nuggets in between the technical stuff.

Some Good Advice, Could Have Been an Hour Long

It was OK. There is some good info and some good advice, but 75% of this book is technical jargon and filler. The entire section on sex could have been left out and doesn't even seem relevant to the topic. It goes from diet and fasting advice to lessons on how incompetent men can learn to make a woman orgasm better? The theme of the book is transforming your body, but also how to find the g-spot and where the clitoris is most sensitive? I found that whole section irrelevant to the topic and hard to listen to. Basically just attention-grabbing filler.

I'm a big fan of Tim Ferriss, from his books to his podcast, but this is one I probably could have skipped and just looked up the Slow Carb Diet One Page Outline that can be found online and summarizes the main points behind the diet plan. It is also worth pointing that since this book has come out Ferriss has re-thought this diet and no longer follows it so it has definitely lost some of its relevance, even to the author. So coming in at less than 4 hours, being mostly filler and also being out-of-date, I likely wouldn't use a credit on this one again.

Enjoyed the 4-hour workweek

Thought I would give this a try as I have enjoyed the past work of the author and am trying to drop my college weight, found this to be like listening to a boring rule book. Maybe reading hard copy would have made it more palatable to the mind.

great info but it seemed short. at 3 hrs...i assumed abridge. good info. tim always entertains...stuff you could implement immediately
