Brilliant!

I can't recommend this book highly enough to anyone interested in American history. It's essentially a sampler of all the great historians of the past 50 years and has thrown my "To Be Read" pile into complete disarray.

Required reading for all Americans

This was a fascinating book, even for a Canadian! Particularly when the American political system is in such chaos currently. I learned a great deal about past Presidents, and other dynamic characters within that system. The section on the founding mothers was a bonus. Bravo!
