About this listen
Greed, terrorism, and simple bad luck conspire to bring mankind to its knees as a viral infection spreads out of control, reducing those infected to undead horrors that feed upon the rest. It's a time of misery and death for most, however there are some who are lucky, some who are fast, and some who are just too damned tough to go down without a fight. This is their story.

loved it
The character development is great, the rawness of humanity is demonstrated quite well for the good and the bad.

I honestly don't understand the rave reviews.
What did the reviewers listen to? Couldn't have been the same book that bored me silly: Characters so stereotypical it is laughable; a story line so weak it is pitiful. Maybe the reviews were written by those who accept the mundane as the norm. I just don't get it and the rave reviews leave me baffled. Basil Sands performed well, at least. All in all, this is a sad excuse for a book. But, my opinion doesn't matter because even though I will not join the ranks of those who posted favorable Audible reviews, Peter Meredith has a following, Good for him.
