About this listen
The Atlas Paradox is the long-awaited sequel to Olivie Blake's New York Times bestselling dark academic sensation The Atlas Six—guaranteed to have even more yearning, backstabbing, betrayal, and chaos.
Six magicians were presented with the opportunity of a lifetime.
Five are now members of the Society.
Two paths lay before them.
All must pick a side.
Alliances will be tested, hearts will be broken, and The Society of Alexandrians will be revealed for what it is: a secret society with raw, world-changing power, headed by a man whose plans to change life as we know it are already under way.
"The Atlas Six introduced six of the most devious, talented, and flawed characters to ever find themselves in a magical library, and then sets them against one another in a series of stunning betrayals and reversals. As much a delicious contest of wit, will, and passion as it is of magic...half mystery, half puzzle, and wholly a delight."—New York Times bestselling author Holly Black

Decent story with variety of voice actors
builds well off the first book and sets up the third one well. I like how they're different voice actors however some arnt as great as others.

Really loved this
I loved all the characters and I enjoyed the full cast. The only thing I didn’t much like is Persia’s narrator, she was too soft spoken and the story did take a while to get to the point. Other than that it was sooo good!

Multiple narrators hit and miss.
I really like this story, it is an interesting world. It has everything magic, sci fi, fantasy, existentialism. I appreciate the magic is science perspective. I definitely recommend this series. I agree with other reviews that the differences in narrators can be jarring. I prefer actors rather then reader types. They bring more dynamics and emotion to the story. My favorites are Libby, Nico, and Reina. I particularly could not appreciate the choices made by the narrator of Parisa. Heavy nasal vocal fry read with the most annoying sentiment of boredom. So whispery that sometimes words weren't even vocalized. I feel I missed a bunch of insite into the story because she is the one who understands what is going on behind everything but I just couldn't wait for her parts to be over.

SO USELESS!! REALLY BAD!!!
This author is so bad. Not well written and jumpy to the point where it's too confusing to follow. Nothing happens. There is no point. You think it's gonna be good but everything that's remotely interesting happens off page. Characters are dull. I asked for my money back. I'm trying to finish the series but its so bad. What is even happening half the time. Trying too hard to sound like something with all the science talk. It's just word vomit. I'm on book 3 and I don't get it. are they being hunted? are they working towards something? is there am alliance? who's together? so dumb !
I'm mad at this book for being so disappointing and useless.

Just get on with it.
So much drama, with very little happening. I listened to the first two audios in hopes it would get better. Let's just say I'm not wasting anymore time on the third.

Enjoyed first book. Bored by second.
I enjoyed listening to the first book. However, this second instalment is frustrating and painful to listen to. It’s overly focused on descriptive details with very little plot advancement. The story fades into the background as you get stuck in each characters internal monologue. Said differently, the book would be better if the editor worker harder to cut excess text.

Might Not Finish
I would give book one 7/10 but book 2 is dragging and a little pointless. The narrator performances are incredible, but the story itself lacks any clear likeable protagonist, and any plot line that you are excited to follow. I find myself not caring what happens to anyone. Not sure how book two and three stayed on the best seller list.
