I bought the book, then I bought the audio.

I like Beau, I like his outlook on the world. Listening to him gives a likeminded individual some comfort and inspiration in what is a disheartening world. As I’ve watched his videos, this book isn’t revelatory, but is a satisfying companion while at work in the garden. Thanks Beau.

a behind the scenes view

enjoyed hearing a behind the scenes discussion of the thoughts and events that brought about many of Beau's adventures. if you want to learn more about beau miles and what makes him tick, this is definitely a good book to listen to.

This Is the Reason I Got Audible

It's true. This is the reason I got Audible.

Beau Miles is an unapologetically unique Australian who had ran way too many miles and lived a lot of life. Whether it's his 90KM walk to work, his idea to drink a 20yr old bottle of wine abandoned on the side of the street, or his decision to eat his weight in beans, Beau always manage to find the right lens to focus on the piece of mind that brings out the best of his backyard adventures. His perspective comes from being a father, a husband, an educator, a craftsman and an adventurer. He is so brazenly living, burning every second to light the present on fire that sometimes it makes me feel ashamed to not strive to accomplish more in my own day to day.

Loved it!

If you enjoy story telling, simple pleasures and adventure, this book is more than worth your time! Beau Miles delivers a collection of adventures through story telling that will elicit your full range of emotions. This book had to be delivered by the author in my opinion and having him read it was perfect. Loved it and will buy copies for my like minded gagle of misfit friends.

Beyond my expectations

Discovered Beaus videos a couple of years back. This man is a hidden gem and his book is too. Thoroughly enjoyed every moment of the book. Would recommend to anyone who is invested in their physical or mental health.

One of the most meaningful and impactful books I have ever read

I am a city-slicker through and through, but after finding Beau’s YouTube channel, and later this book, i find myself realizing what shape some of the holes inside me are.

Beau did not change my life, he showed me one of the ways it could be, and he could not have been more honest, charming, and genuine while doing it. His honesty, willingness to be proven wrong, and child-like love and fascination with the world is inspiring and, even if my journey does not look like his, he has inspired me.
