About this listen

Welcome back to Beechwood Harbor, the small town where witches, vampires, shifters, and werewolves all work, play—and mostly—get along! This boxed set includes Books 10–12 in the Beechwood Harbor Magic Mysteries by Danielle Garrett.

Murder's a Witch: I’m a witch with a problem. Okay, make that lots of problems.

Following a slight misunderstanding with magical law enforcement, I wind up expelled from the hidden supernatural community known as the Seattle Haven. My parole office dumps me in a tiny beach town with nothing but my collection of worldly possessions and a warning that this is my last shot.

I don’t think I’m cut out for the human world, but when stuck between a prison cell and a haunted halfway house, I suppose I’ll take option B.

Things start out better than expected, I even manage to make a few friends, but when my boss at the local coffee house is found dead in an alley, I get tangled up in the investigation, and might have to blow my cover to prove my friend’s innocence.

Add to that a fussy ghost landlady, warring vampire and shifter roommates, and my rapidly dwindling savings, and I’m beginning to wonder if I might have been better off serving that prison sentence after all.

It’s too late now. I’m in the thick of it and come hex or high water, I’ll get to the bottom of this murder, even if it means permanent banishment from the magical world.

Twice the Witch: There’s a new witch in town…

Green might be my best color, but I never thought I’d play the part of the jealous girlfriend. Evangeline might be a certified supernatural celebrity, but that doesn’t mean she can toss her flirtatious smile at my newly minted boyfriend.

Before I can wrench Adam from Evangeline’s clutches, I have an amnesiac ghost begging for help and find myself smack dab in the middle of another murder investigation.

I have to track down a killer and save my new relationship … all without landing myself in a witch’s duel.

Witch Slapped: As if meeting the parents wasn’t complicated enough…

My boyfriend’s snooty parents are coming into town for the Yule Feast and they’re staying at the Beechwood Manor — for an entire week!

With a paranormal meet-the-parents on the horizon, the last thing I need is to stumble into yet another murder investigation, but when I become a key witness, there’s no way to avoid it. Especially not when vampires are involved and my human partner-in-sleuthing is racing right into their path.

I have to shut down a ring of power-hungry vampires, charm a pair of uptight shifters, and keep myself out of supernatural prison. Piece of cake, right?

Bah humbug.

Perfect magical cozy mysteries

I really enjoyed the stories and the narrator. Slowly learning more about the supernatural types and the backstories of Holly’s roommates was mixed well through the murder-solving.

Enjoyed listening

Cute series, nice and light. The charaters are believeable. The mystery is solved as expected and its easy to follow. Not alot of charaters to keep track of so its good.

Amanda is a fantastic narrator, I love listening to her read.

A really fun series

I really enjoyed listening to these first three books, in this box set. I thought the narrator did a great job. The variety of supernatural characters was fun. I liked how caring and compassionate the main character was. I wouldn't have expected that from a witch.

I’m done listening to these books they are dry & boring

I’ve never had such a hard time connecting to a lead character before but Holly is just so lacklustre!

The world they live in seems cool enough unfortunately the first two book are nothing but a juvenile who done it murder mystery, tip toeing around the human world and just kinda boring.

Then Hollys high school like love triangle between her Adam & Nick is infuriating!
For 2 books she just treats Adam like garbage when he’s nothing but wonderful to her, while behind his back she keeps hanging out with Nick and being all flirty and you can see they have feelings for each other.

The 3rd book was the most interesting out of the first 3 as this one was more involved in the magical world.

Overall these books were a waste of my time, maybe I’m just use to really good fantasy books.

These are better suited for a young teen or jr fiction reader. 28 years old and there’s nothing more but a little hand holding & small kisses between Holly & Adam after months of dating 😳

Not for me

I could just not get into this one. The story could just not hold me. I also felt it was so slow. The narration was good. Would recommend skipping this one.
