The Blinding Knife: Booktrack Edition adds an immersive musical soundtrack to your audiobook listening experience!
Gavin's powers are fading and his end draws near as war rages across the satrapies in the second novel novel of the NYT best-selling Lightbringer series by Brent Week.
Gavin Guile is dying.
He'd thought he had five years left—now he has less than one. With 50,000 refugees, a bastard son, and an ex-fiancée who may have learned his darkest secret, Gavin has problems on every side. All magic in the world is running wild and threatens to destroy the Seven Satrapies. Worst of all, the old gods are being reborn, and their army of color wights is unstoppable. The only salvation may be the brother whose freedom and life Gavin stole 16 years ago.
*Booktrack is an immersive format that pairs traditional audiobook narration to complementary music. The tempo and rhythm of the score are in perfect harmony with the action and characters throughout the audiobook. Gently playing in the background, the music never overpowers or distracts from the narration, so listeners can enjoy every minute. When you purchase this Booktrack edition, you receive the exact narration as the traditional audiobook available, with the addition of music throughout.

"One of the best epic fantasies I've ever read."—Staffer's Book Review
"The Blinding Knife is a wonderful work of high fantasy with engaging characters facing the perfect antagonists, set in a creatively-wrought and increasingly chaotic world brimful of imaginative magic and interesting politics. Weeks holds fast to the traditions of his genre while adding a compelling new flavor."—The Ranting Dragon

Trying to get through this
Read the first book and was looking forward to this one....but struggling to listen to this with all this music in the background, I mean endless. I get some intro music during chapters but this is to much. Will have to read the book to find out what happens!

Great follow up!
I lived the first book and this sequel does not disappoint. The depth of the story telling is very compelling and there is very convincing building of a feeling of doom. I like the music peppered throughout as it helps keep my focus on the story.

Trust the reviews
what everyone one else said is true, it's a great book. if you enjoy the Black Prism you'll enjoy The Blinding Knife. The narrator is great but the soundtrack is terrible it has its moments but I'll rather it not being there.

Brent Weeks is killing it!
Colorful characters, with blended, well woven tales of heroics and tragedy. please read this series and the Night Angel Trilogy as both are hard hitting and spellbinding. <3

Don't get booktracks.
You can't turn off booktracks and it plays music to try to match how you should feel at every moment... impossible task obviously failed.

Book tracks ugh
I think I’d like it without the awful, overwhelming soundtrack. It’s terrible. I regret buying it.
