conversations were akward

narration was very good and the abolity to distingish the different characters was excellent. some of the conversations/dialogue was awkward with the use of words that would not likely be found in vocabulary of those residents that are often stuck/stay in small towns. for example...most people would refer to 'cuts' not lacerations (unless you are in a hospital/ER); or people would say you 'ruined my reputation' not 'besmirched'.
