About this listen
During the past several years, doctors at leading institutions across the nation have been investigating the relationship between breast cancer and diet: confirming that what a woman eats can have a dramatic impact on whether or not she contracts the disease. In The Breast Cancer Prevention Diet, Dr. Bob Arnot has synthesized this research into an eating program that finally enables women to fight back. Designed for women, the diet offers valuable information that will address your particular needs.

Amazing book on how to prevent breast cancer!
This book validated all the suggestions recommended by my naturopath who specializes in breast cancer prevention and reoccurrence. After my mastectomy, I was torn between the use of tamoxifen or natural supplements and diet. The reason I was torn was because the pharmacists and oncologists at the cancer clinic said not to take ground flax seed, juice plus, bone builder and daily detox greens which I put in my cancer fighting smoothies. They stated that they either interfere with tamoxifen or create more estrogen in my body. My cancer naturopath stated that these are okay to take with tamoxifen and they block estrogen not create more. Nevertheless, the risks with tamoxifen and slight benefits didn’t outweigh the natural supplements and food route I chose. I feel confident that I went with the Eastern methods of supplements and diet, as my risk for reoccurrence was low and as a preventative measure, I would be getting annual MRIs.
