Great!!
This book was great! It's got me hooked, can't wait to start book 2. I usually listen to my stories while I drive, but with this book I kpwt listening even when I was home and not driving.

better than anticipated
4⭐️ the idea of the plot is good and pretty enticing and definitely had me listening for longer stretches than anticipated. The slow burn and angst and anticipation and longing looks and brief touches >>> ouf I loved it. The excitement at the end. Had me on the edge of my seat, freaking out. Then the actual ending caught me so off guard. Really looking forward to book two.

Great Solid story
Greats story overall would highly recommend, can’t wait to listen to the others in the series. Slightly predictable but most romances are I feel. Very well written

She builds a world in your mind
I don’t review very often but this book hit a spot. She creates a world in your mind. This book was full of so many twists and turns. Not to mention the start Of the book just blew my mind. This book is amazingly written and if you are looking for a good story to lose yourself too, please listen to this book!! Not to mention how the last few chapters took a turn, my heart actually broke for this girl. I’m so invested in this story. Now book 2!!

Overhyped
I was recommended this book based on the fact that it was an enemies-to-lovers book with some good spice: oh man was I lead astray. Enemies-to-lovers .... yes. Spice? Zero. Maybe a page in the whole book. I really hoped to like this book more, but I just couldn't. I found the characters a bit flat, a bit irritating at points. Overall, it was meh. I've definitely read worse. I just found myself having next to no interest once the end of the book came. Can't say I'll be finishing the series

The writer is clearly gifted. I was captivated from beginning to end (part 1) and I was desperate for part 2 and it did not disappoint. I was overwhelmed with emotions - from excitement, to anger, frustration, hope and satisfaction. I definitely recommend.
