About this listen

When a fiendish fraudster has been fomenting financial falsehoods, who can find the finagler?

The World’s Greatest Detective Agency, of course!

Staffed by the eccentric man who calls himself Sherman Holmes and aided by his ever-composed assistant Watson, the duo will take on cases other agencies might consider helpless, hopeless, or downright preposterous.

Which is how our fearless fellows find themselves investigating a Renaissance faire’s cooked books, with the finger of guilt pointing directly at their client. To prove his innocence, Sherman and Watson will have to join the revelry, triumph in challenges, deal with an unusually aggressive parrot, and uncover the true origins of the seemingly cheerful faire.

Another rip-roaring adventure with whimsy and humour :-)

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THIS BOOK!!! :-) :-) :-)

This installment in the 5 Minute Sherlock series is possibly even better than its awesome predecessors :-)

For those with neurotypical brains (aka almost all of society), The Case Of The Felonious Faire offers a fun romp through intrigue and cosplay :-)

For those with high-functioning autism (aka high-functioning Autism Spectrum Disorder [ASD]) and its attendant Attention Deficit Disorder [ADHD]), especially if the ADHD is severe and of either the combined or primarily hyperactive/impulsive subtype, The Case Of The Felonious Faire offers an empathic reflection of their own unique brains :-) :-) :-) Those with one of the above ADHD subtypes but NOT Autism/ASD will also see that reflection, although with the added aspects of high-functioning ASD. This is even though Sherman Holmes’s brain takes to a new heights ADHD’s constant observation of the myriad aspects of its surroundings, thanks to its very large capacity for recall.)

The depiction of Sherman Holmes, as someone who is daily subjected to a constant barrage of inputs, also provides an excellent opportunity for neurotypical humans (aka most of society) to gain a glimpse into and some understanding of what it is like to have ADHD :-) :-) :-)

Eagerly awaiting the next book…
