Publisher's Summary

Artificial intelligence leads to shockingly real devastation in this new novel in the number one New York Times best-selling Gray Man series.

Someone is killing the world's leading experts on robotics and computers. A desperate Russian scientist approaches Court Gentry and Zoya Zakharova to ask for their protection, but before they can help, they are attacked by a team of professional assassins.

They escape, but wherever they turn, it's clear that whoever's tracking them is always going to be one step ahead. With a danger of this level, there's no choice but to attack into the threat.

There is one man who may hold the answers to all their questions. But he's gone to ground in a fortress surrounded by a veritable army. If that's not bad enough, he has a new chief of security—Court's old comrade, Zack Hightower.

Great storyline. Non stop action

This is the latest in the Gray Man series and in my opinion the best one yet. I really enjoyed the storyline and character development. Fast paced. Looking forward to the next one.

Jay Snyder is the best Narrator!

I have read all of the gray man books, most of them in audio, if not all, and what I love about the audio, the character of Court Gentry and the other characters are truly brought out by the narrator Jay Snyder. His ability to separate the different characters and show each one of their style and their individual characteristics is fantastic.
When I saw the movie,The Grey Man you just miss that so much because they can’t do that in the movie and that’s what I really like about reading the books.
This book the Chaos agent is a page turner. I can’t wait to have the opportunity to continue to listen to it. I’m only sad when it’s going to be over and I have to wait a long time again for another book.
I certainly hope Jay Snyder stays as the narrator because it wouldn’t be the same without him. If you like these types of books I would recommend reading them all.

Simply Terrible

This imagining of an AI-Army run by a mysterious Elon Musk character is derivative, stupid and simply unbelievable. This story takes a fine, character-driven series and makes it a mockery. What a sad, pitiful ending. Why not characters that are believable, with motivation and all those other tried and true fictional gifts? Give us all a break, please!
