About this listen
I've been to a million parties with my crush, but he's never acted on it til now.
Ford Malone could have any woman in Chicago, so why fake a relationship with me?
The world knows him as the heir to a real estate fortune, but to me he'll always be my best friend, the man who saved me from my bullies as a boy.
I'm as surprised as anyone when he announces our engagement, but I'll play along.
Nothing has to change except the way we behave—the way we touch—in public.
But his private touches change everything.
Soon the crush I've hidden for so long is threatening to swallow me whole.
If I tell him how I feel, it could ruin our friendship forever.
But if I don't, it might just ruin me.
How many lies can we tell each other before our truth is buried for good?
All three books of the Charade Series in one bundle.

Most Unlikable Male Lead
This book is so frustrating. I made it to the 8 hour mark and wanted to pull out my hair. The female lead is really weak willed and puts up with a lot of petty behaviour from the male lead, which I can justify based on her character setting, but the male lead is soooo annoying! He thinks he’s god’s gift to the world and treats the female lead like she is his puppet and openly admits that he likes that she’s easily manipulated and has low self esteem (some books this can be interesting, but not in this one). Even when he says he “loves” her he doesn’t even really see her as a person but more like a doll that will do everything he wants and is only good because she’s not like the ex he hates… the relationship isn’t fun, there’s no redeeming qualities in male lead and if that isn’t enough the story is unoriginal and boring. Don’t waste your money.
