About this listen
The Cost of Discipleship is a compelling statement of the demands of sacrifice and ethical consistency from a man whose life and thought were exemplary articulations of a new type of leadership inspired by the Gospel, and imbued with the spirit of Christian humanism and a creative sense of civic duty.

Book for every evangelical
Shockingly pertinent for our day. The call is direct yet seasoned with the actual Grace given by God. Bring a believer for 55 years I found this work timely for my journey toward Christ likeness.

Challenging and relevant
I listened with interest. It challenged me. It called me back to following Jesus with heart, soul, mind and strength. It showed me again that life in Christ is the best for all of us. That there is forgiveness and renewal, that the cost is not really a cost when considered against the backdrop of eternity. For me it was further illuminated by the fact of Bonhoeffer’s own martyrdom at the hands of the Nazis.
