The Cross sustained them

I thoroughly enjoyed the wealth of knowledge gained from this well written book. It highlights the true struggles of black people and the major cause of such struggles. It revealed the strength and resilience of blacks throughout the centuries. It also, from a theological perspective, unveiled God as the foundation and reason for hope in the midst of despair.

I have acquired a great deal of knowledge historically just from reading this book.

I really appreciate this book!
