About this listen
The saga continues in- The Day Of: Legends.
20 years have passed since "The Boston Incident", where our group finally gained the upper hand on their enemy... The First Wave and their ruthless leader General Tim Franklin.
Life is now somewhat back to normal. Of course, the scars of what is now called the 2nd civil war still show. Those scars show most to Tyler Reese.... Cam's youngest son. At the age of 20, Tyler's interest in exactly who his father was during the war takes him over. Even though Camron Reese is a household name around the country, Tyler cannot find the reasons why. That is until he stumbles on a few old bins in the basement. There he finds the remnants of a time long gone. And.... A broken up, but functioning laptop. After further investigation, Tyler finds one file on the laptop.... his father's story that Franklin named.... The Day Of.
Tyler reads the whole thing... front to back. He is enamored with the story, and the characters. But then he realizes it's all true. This was not one of his father's fictional stories. This was everything he ever wanted to know.... But it just ends. There is no more after the Boston Incident. Tyler knows there is more to the story, much more. After heated exchanges with his mother and his father.... Cam starts having thoughts. Thoughts of the years after the Boston Incident. Thoughts of the whole time period he did not write about back then.
So, late one night Cam decides to re-engage with the story.... And tell the story the only way he knows how.... his way. Even though he knows.... it will likely lead to his death.
In true The Day Of fashion.... the story is being told directly to you, as the reader, as it's being written for you.- And once again, this story is not for people that do not want to listen to foul language, hear about war and the death and the destruction that comes with it.- This is not a children's book.- Everyone else, please enjoy!!
