About this listen
Michael is on holiday in Spain when a soccer riot between the Paddies and the Brits escalates out of control and he winds up in a Spanish prison. Enter Samantha, a beautiful British Intelligence agent. She makes Michael an offer he can't refuse: instead of extradition to Mexico to serve time for a prison break, he can infiltrate an IRA sleeper cell in the United States. Thrust into the nightmare world of men known for their distinctive brands of torture and revenge, Michael crosses and double-crosses key players, narrowly escapes his own lies, loses his only ally, and falls for the daughter of his enemy.

Fantastic
Another great book by A.M. Brilliant writing with pockets of humour, edge of your seat action, peppered with passion and guaranteed to make you a fan of the reader.

Graphic
Good story, well told and in some parts quite poetic. However, was not prepared for the very graphic violence even though I was aware of the character from the first book. It didn’t advance the plot IMO. Don’t recall there being a warning and perhaps there should be one.

Not McKinty’s best
I find this series more gory and less interesting than the Sean Duffy series. I think Mr. McKinty must not know any women because his few female characters seem only to be there to beg for sex from his main male characters. It gets boring.
