Homicide Detective Max Rupert never fully accepted his wife's death, even when he believed that a reckless hit and run driver was the cause. Wow!
Loved it! At one stage I was kind of wondering where it was going to go but the ending still got me. Thoroughly enjoyed it and narration was great.

thoroughly enjoyable
this is the third book I have listened to by this author. I love the twists and turns he creates. the descriptive and engaging writing is exceptional. always a surprise lingering in the text.

What a brilliant conclusion to a fabulous series. I enjoyed every minute. And as someone who lives in the landscape where it's set, I love how accurately winter in the region is depicted. I very much enjoyed all four books. Thanks for the freebies Audible Plus! If it hadn't been a freebie, I likely would have never come across this author. Now I will be looking for him.

Great Series
Excellent story… enjoyed all 4 of the 5 books in this series, so far… I couldn’t stop listening!
