Publisher's Summary
Newly minted doctor Jane McGill is in hell.
Not literally, of course. But between her drug addict patients, sleepless nights on call, and battling wits with the sadistic yet charming Sexy Surgeon, Jane can't imagine an afterlife much worse than her first month of medical internship at County Hospital.
And then there's the devil herself: Jane's senior resident, Dr. Alyssa Morgan. When Alyssa becomes absolutely hell-bent on making her new interns pay tenfold for the deadly sin of incompetence, Jane starts to worry that she may not make it through the year with her soul or her sanity still intact.

The Devil Wears Scrubs
Very different than usual Mc Fadden Freida books, but I loked her sense of humor and book storyline. Narrator is very good.

funny but no story line
good entertainment about really nothing. Also the level of medical technicality didn't go with the general light superficial feel of the book

good story
I work at a hospital, so I enjoyed the jargon. She did well to explain everything. Overall good story. I was hoping for something dark and twisted but not that type of story.

I was wanting for it to have a plot
I am used to Mcfadden’s books having twist and suspense. This book just journals a new interns daily events. No real plot or character building. It was odd.

Definitely not comedic!
No idea why this is supposed to be funny; its quite depressing really. A good read if you want ro convince someone not to go into medicine.

the narration is great 👍🏼
I love Freida McFadden 💕 I love her psychological thrillers, the twists and the suspense. This one was a lighthearted medical dramatic romcom I guess. Is that a genre? I have no idea.
Short and sweet about medical intern Jane who just can't do anything right. Jane's snark and sarcasm is on point! Jane is all of us, we have all worked a job with a know it all coworker and an impossible to impress supervisor.

Sadly boring story
It was difficult to listen as the main character was so incompetent and the story wasn’t interesting. No real action or plot. And the reader was monotone as the character was

Waste of time
There was no story what so ever. I kept waiting for something to happen and it never did.

Chance of enjoying this book? 10%.
I listened to another novel by this author and loved it, so I ventured into this free short listen. I think this is the worst book I've listened to for the last 3 years. It feels like a 1st attempt at the college level to produce a story long enough to be an entire book. The storyline, characters, and plot is simply a vapid waste of time. I can only assume that medical interns may relate to the cases and nauseating descriptions of some cases presented. There is no real devil in this story..the everyday monotonous failings of a medical intern were a story that went nowhere and begged to be funny. WASTE OF TIME!!! ABSOLUTELY WASTED MY TIME AND EAR DRUMS!!
