Publisher's Summary

A grieving football player hoping his son will speak again. A speech pathologist with a dark secret. An unexpected love that sparks danger from the past.

After Ryder Quinn’s wife died, his four-year-old son stopped speaking. Desperate for a solution, Ryder hires Bree Stevens, a spunky speech pathologist to be his son’s nanny and therapist. Bree moves in, breathing new life into their home. As his attraction for her grows, Ryder fears he might have more help than he bargained for.

Bree Stevens quickly falls for the devoted father and his adorable boy. But when her twisted past catches up with her, she has to choose: selfishly hold onto the love that she’s found, or leave and keep them safe.

Weak storyline

Potential to be an outstanding story but needs to be fleshed out - seems like writing was rushed - too few details unanswered question, jumps around a lot without explanation

Funny and Serious.

No man stands a chance but to fall in love with thus girl. I enjoyed her choice of vocabulary and never know what is going to come out of her mouth or what she is going to do. The unpredictability of the female lead us exactly what this father/son strictly structured life needs. I laughed, I cried and I got angry. Feeling so many emotions in one book usually makes me lobe the story. Thus book was so good I listed to it multiple times.
