His name is Charles Render, and he is a psychoanalyst, and a mechanic of dreams. A Shaper. flowery words but no substance

This story isn't great.
Lots of long-winded prose but there is no payoff. In the end, it falls flat.
Lots of loose ends.
If you're a Sci Fi fan, don't waste your time with this one.
