The feels, the emotions, the love
This is my first series by Meghan Quinn and I absolutely loved every book.
The Duets series is a series of 2 books in each series.
The Upside of Falling, The Downside of Love, The Left Side of Perfect,
The Right Side of Forever
The Upside of Falling is about Colby and Rory. Colby has one dream and one dream only. To become a fight pilot. And nothing will come in his way of fulfilling his dream. That is until he meets Rory........his world evolves around more than the sky. He thought she was it until she shatters his heart.
The Downside of Love picks up after book one. I wasn’t sure what to expect. Rory, dealing with her own emotions finds herself helping out Colby’s best friend Stryker who drains his sorrows in alcohol. Together Rory and her best friend Ryan help him to get out of his funk and a deep friendship develops between Stryker and Rory. A friendship which leads to a beautiful romance. But to who’s expense? How will Colby react?
The Left Side of Perfect is Colby’s story after he finds himself without the girl of his dreams. That is until he meets Sage. The Left Side of Perfect is also Ryan’s story who does not know where her place is. Her and Colby have developed a friendship. Even though his heart is with Sage he couldn’t imagine his life without Ryan in it. And Ryan, she quickly realizes that her feelings for Colby are far more than she can admit to anyone.
The Right Side of Forever, the final book in this series summed up all the feels. What does it take for one to realize his one true love is right in front of him. How Colby and Ryan finally unite will tear on all your emotions.
I loved every book, every heartwarming, emotional story and each character. Four people who find what they deserve. Happiness and love. Each book will receive my 5 stars. This book set is a definite recommend.
