About this listen
It began in a women's club in London on a February afternoon. A discreet advertisement in The Times, addressed to "Those who Appreciate Wistaria and Sunshine..." lures four very different women away from the dismal British weather to San Salvatore, a castle high above a bay on the sunny Italian Riviera. There, the Mediterranean spirit stirs the souls of Mrs Arbuthnot, Mrs Wilkins, Lady Caroline Dester, and Mrs Fisher, and remarkable changes occur.

Uplifting
This story is springtime all bottled up. It’s love and laughter and friendship and flowers and forgiveness and hope available all year round. Once started it can’t be stopped because, really, who would want to? Just surrender and bloom.

weird story but enjoyable
a woman but happy in her marriage sees an ad to rent a castle in Italy for cheap. She finds a like minded person in their town and end up recruiting two more women to share expenses. they are all trying to get away from something but the magic of the place heals them.
the characters are quirky and the writing is good. it is a hard story to classify
