À propos de cet audio
Best-selling Divergent and Carve the Mark author Veronica Roth delivers a stunning collection of novella-length stories set in the future.
No world is like the other. Within this masterful collection, each setting is more strange and wonderful than the last, brimming with new technologies and beings. And yet, for all the advances in these futuristic lands, the people still must confront deeply human problems.
In these six stories, Veronica Roth reaches into the unknown and draws forth something startlingly familiar and profoundly beautiful.
With tales of friendship and revenge, plus two new stories from the Carve the Mark universe, this collection has something for new and old fans alike. Each story begins with a hope for a better end, but always ends with a better understanding of the beginning.

6 great chapters with 6 great stories
The story's in this book were all great and each stand out in its own way. My favourite stories right off the bat are the first, the third and the last chapters.
The narration of the chapters made these stories come alive. Even though the majority of this book is Narrated by Emily Rankin, she doesn't make you feel that way. The way she narrates for each of the characters, in each of the chapters, helps you focus on the characters themselves and not the voice acting of the narrator. I've listened to a handful of audiobooks where the voice actor doesn't really capture the character(s) they're reading for, whether they kept practically the same voice for each characters or they just had a boring monotone throughout the book. Emily Rankin is a narrator I really enjoy listening too and I'm glad she was brought back to voice another one of Veronica Roth's books.
MacLeod Andrews has a wonderfully smooth, soothing voice that entraps you in the stories. Although he could work on his little girl voice, he did a wonderful job as the characters he voiced and in making their stories so easy to listen to.
All in all, Veronica Roth has done another amazing job. She is and will probably always be one of my favourite authors to read/listen to.
