Publisher's Summary
In this updated 2021 edition of The Entheological Paradigm, leading nondual entheogenic advocate, Martin W. Ball, presents a naturalistic, rational, and objective view on the nature of reality as seen through the lenses of DMT and 5-MeO-DMT when appreciated from a nondual perspective. In stark contrast to popularized views of psychedelic experience, Dr. Ball directly addresses the nature of reality and perception, aptly demonstrating that the contents of visionary experiences are the product of egos in various states of resistance to or absorption in the full nondual and unitary experience. Are machine elves real? Was 2012 really a thing? Does DMT launch you into hyperspace? Did Terence McKenna know what he was talking about? Do psychedelic entities actually exist? Or, are all these projections of the ego? These provocative and insightful essays answer these questions and more, from a radical nondual perspective which fully accounts for the nature of the ego, how it shapes psychedelic experiences, and how to maximize the transformative potential of nondual experience and realization as it is made accessible through “The God Molecule", 5-MeO-DMT, and other psychedelic compounds. The result is a radically clear framework from which to understand not only the nature of psychedelic experience, but reality as a whole as the expression of a single unitary consciousness in interaction with itself across multiple levels simultaneously. The result is The Entheological Paradigm: a guide to the genuine nature of reality.
In this updated 2021 edition, some of the original contents of the 2011 edition have been removed, and many new materials have been added, greatly expanding the scope of the original publication. New to this edition are essays on the topic of "2012", Dr. Ball's address to the 2020 World Bufo Alvarius Congress, Dr. Ball's keynote address to the 2020 Nonduality Global Summit, two essays on MDMA and MDA and psychedelic cocktails, a lengthy transcribed interview, and more.

Lots of good information as always but talks about his way as if it’s factual
There’s lots that I can agree with in this book however for every one thing I agree with, there’s 4 things that I disagree with. He spends too much time in the intro talking about politics. He also comes off in a way as everything he says should be taken as fact. In my opinion he also critiques the interpretation of Terrence McKenna’s trips too much, he goes on to say that the non-dual is a truly real experience on 5-meoDMT, but then goes on to say that everything that happens in other trips aren’t. He quite harshly criticizes the way that Terrence Mckenna talks implying that just by how he sounds nothing he says is true, but at the same time martin stumbles over his words quite frequently in the recording. Not saying I didn’t enjoy the book but there’s just something about martins writings that set something off for me, I still do consider what he has to say and he can still hit the mark on a lot of things. He also repeats himself quite a lot that makes it seem like he’s trying to get his word count up. Obviously I don’t fully agree with the entheological paradigm but there’s still some good information in here.
