loved it. John is Brave and Brilliant ! What alot of hard work to be able to turn your life into YOUR choices and live on your terms! Thank you , to the author for sharing and telling your story and letting people know you were not giving up that easy ,to be a victim and let those people ,trials and tribulations destroy you! you have risen above it all! Thank you , as much as you needed to write this book and overcome the things you needed to grown from, alot of people needed it just as much to read and hear. kudos and much love to you John Joseph 💋

I couldn't get enough!
what an incredible story journey. Three beginning dinners a lot like my childhood. fortunately not as extreme as some of John's struggles. John is an incredible story teller. I am so glad he narrated his work. looks like I'm on to PMA and ordering Meat is for Pussies. Great job John thanks for sharing. Peace be with you!

Very inspirational
The book does tend to drag a little in the middle but overall it has a great message and quiet entertaining.

Thank you for the inspiration John Joseph!! Listened to this book after hearing his interview on the Rich Roll podcast. What a story. His will and spirit to rise above after all of the hardship and craziness he has been through will be an inspiration to me on my own journey for a long time to come. All the best in the future John🤘🏼

amazing book! Even better to listen to as an audiobook to hear the rawness, strength, honor and true resiliency through his narration. this man is nothing short of a miracle! A true survivor

Fascinating
An incredible story of redemption and coming back from the odds. If JJ can get through what he did, anyone can escape from anything. Joseph comes across as a real, no holds barred bad ass ... but an extremely compassionate and empathetic person. His performance of the book was awesome. He didn’t just read it, it was like a one man play. Well worth the time to listen to this!
