Only got through the first story

The narrator is okay but the writing is atrocious.
The author clearly loves horror movies and took a lot of stuff from a wide variety of them; like the constant bickering from Blair Witch, the horrible dialogue any Eli Roth film (hope you enjoy the words “hell” and “fuck” a lot), the plot from Wrong Turn, the character depth and development from any Friday the 13th and plot “twists” as clever as the village.
Go watch a slasher flick instead, at least even the worst of those usually have cheesy special effects that make them fun.
