About this listen
A girl traumatized by the murder of her tribe.
A battle-worn woman who became the perfect machine for survival and the deadliest special operator on Earth.
Now, with the entire world collapsing around her and safety–and Alpha Team–10,000 miles away…
Strap in for the opening salvo of the ARISEN: Operators epic—the biggest and most explosive ARISEN adventure yet and the untold story of the pipe-hitting operators of the Unified Special Operations Command during the first two years of the Zulu Alpha. To have any chance of reaching safety in Fortress Britain, Master Sergeant Yaël Sion must first escape the collapsing gravity well of Israel as it's devoured from within by merciless jihadi fighters, striking in the chaos of rampaging hordes of infected civilians, all in a global pandemic spiraling out of control. She must then cross a million square miles of open water, surviving one lethal trial after another, embracing and sacrificing allies, all while keeping herself mobile, supplied, and clinging to life. She will also have to confront and defeat her own demons, learning that solitude is not the only path to survival and other people are not always a lethal threat… if she is to find a reason for staying alive at all.

Good if you can look past the vague pro Israel propaganda.
As the title says, the story is fast paced, bad ass, and will keep you listening. As always R.C. Bray gives a 10/10 performance. I could happily listen to the guy read a phone book.
My only gripe is the amount of pro Israel propaganda and the pretty apparent villainization of the Palestinian people. Especially in the first 1/3-1/2 of the book.

Too much Israel not enough story.
R.C. Bray crushed it again he is the absolute best narrator. Unfortunately this book isn't nearly as good as the previous books in the story. Characters are good. It just seems to go to deep into detail. almost the the Author is trying to show off his knowledge or weapon systems and Israel. There was a 5 minute description of one firearm. it's decent but nowhere near as good as the Orginal Arisen series or the Raiders series.

Love this zombieverse
Enjoyed what is the first of what I hope is many more back-stories of the epic pipehitters I’ve come to know so well. Once the zombies arrived, I settled in for more of what I liked in the main series. Until then, too much pro Israel /con Palestinian musings. That is not what I came here for.

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY **Political propaganda**
Bray is perfect as usual but the books is just obvious pro Israel propaganda. The actual story is clearly an after thought and isn't at all engaging. What made arisen great was a group of altruistic badasses ready to sacrifice everything for their brothers and the fight to save humanity. The protagonist in this story instantly abandons her unit and repeatedly abandons anyone she meets to their fate making her and the narrative completely uncompelling.
And that's assuming your willing to sit through about six hours of education on the struggle of the poor noble Israeli freedom fighter against the ruthless and unrepentant evil of the Palestinian dogs they can barely keep locked in their cages. Fuchs is an asshole for cramming this garbage in here, I read this type of fiction specifically to get away from politics and current events and I won't ever forget him wasting one of my audible credits to force his bullshit narrative on me. He'll never get another cent from me.
