She did it again…
Loved this book. All the feels… excitement, sadness, longing. Also wishing I was as forgiving and brave as some of these characters. Elin is a remarkable writer and I am dreading the day she retires.

Elin’s story and Erin’s read is 5 star
Thoroughly enjoyed this new offering by my favorite novel writer, read and performed impeccably by Erin. A tight timeline, with woven histories, food, drink, beach, love and heartbreak. Perfect summer book.

Unlike anything I’ve read
This book differs from my typical reads of spies, crimes and mysteries, which in itself is a refreshing change. I enjoyed the storyline, the well developed characters and the many clever references the author makes to current trends and brands.
The narrator does an excellent job with inflections and emphasis in all the right places as well as a first class British accent.

Great listen for a solitary vacay
This read was both fun and easy as well as one that prompted reflection on friendship and forgiveness. Perfect to listen to on a week at the cabin.

Food for thought
While listening to this story there were many times when I thought about who I would include if I hosted a five-star weekend of my own.
I loved the fun storyline and the nuances that made each character memorable and had you rooting for them.
Predictable? Perhaps. But I enjoyed the way the story was told, in present day with reflections back on time to create a baseline for the relationships that brought the ladies together on Nantucket for a memorable weekend.
A final positive note was the pleasant voice of the narrator with lots of inflection as the story unfolded.
