Well written, with interesting characters and fantastic narration

This is probably one of my favorite books on here. If you enjoyed the powder mage trilogy but wanted something more towards David Drake’s stories in terms of descriptions of combat, you’ve found it.

Narration was fantastic right up to the onomatopoeia. Brilliantly done!
