About this listen
From the creator of the acclaimed horror video games comes the next thrilling chapter in the New York Times best-selling Five Nights at Freddy's series.
What really happened to Charlie? It's the question that John can't seem to shake, along with the nightmares of Charlie's apparent death and miraculous reappearance. John just wants to forget the whole terrifying saga of Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, but the past isn't so easily buried.
Meanwhile, there's a new animatronic pizzeria opening in Hurricane, along with a new rash of kidnappings that feel all too familiar. Bound together by their childhood loss, John reluctantly teams up with Jessica, Marla, and Carlton to solve the case and find the missing children. Along the way, they'll unravel the twisted mystery of what really happened to Charlie, and the haunting legacy of her father's creations.

great story overall
the story was great, as was the narration, but I noticed a lot of repeated verbiage in the writing. Like pretty much all through chapter 13 almost all of the characters were described as "hissing" every time they talked, I can understand that it's hard to explain desperate, angry or frustrated whispering creatively, but it just made it seem like they suddenly became angry cats or snakes.
I also felt like there were a few "literary jump cuts" where there was kind of a gap in explanation and so some events felt like they came out of nowhere or like we suddenly jumped ahead to a more exciting part, kinda like the book itsself got bored with it's own story and it broke the immersion a bit for me.
Suzanne Elise Freeman's narration made it feel less like a novel and more like an audio play and I loved it! she has done amazingly with all of the FNAF novels to date, and if there are to be more, I hope she continues to be their narrator.
Despite the aforementioned things, I really enjoyed the book and the story it told and I hope that there will be more FNAF novels in the future.

"That's not Charlie."
Suzanne's Charlie voice is now my headcanon Charlie voice. XD I love this even though the chapters in the app are shortened but the audio says the right chapter which sucks but I bet it's just a misake they made. I recently read the book and I think this is an almost perfect audio version of it. The only thing I found annoying is the chapters in the app but I love everything else. I give it 5 stars because the chapters on the app doesn't effect my overall experience as I was listening to it all day. XD Also, I won't really spoil anything here but the fake Charlie in TTO really isn't our Charlie and the ending is sad, beware.

This book made me feel so many things
This is my favorite novel series. The Charlie Trilogy really stood out to me with story telling and characters and I was blown away relistening to it again. It made me happy, sad and all inbetween and I love the ending.

chapter numbers do not match up kind of weird and annoying when it says there are 31 chapters and only like 15
