Strange things are happening in Maya's tiny Vancouver Island town. First, her friend Serena, the captain of the swim team, drowns mysteriously in the middle of a calm lake. Then, one year later, mountain lions are spotted rather frequently around Maya's home and her reactions to them are somewhat . . . unexpected. Her best friend, Daniel, has also been experiencing unexplainable premonitions about certain people and situations.
It doesn't help that the new bad boy in town, Rafe, has a dangerous secret, and he's interested in one special part of Maya's anatom - her paw-print birthmark.

Ended without an end
If I had known the book was not stand alone at all, I would not have started it. It ended so abruptly.

Great series!
This is such an amazing series, and much like others here I wish that the first 3 books were available in English on here. I have been checking for months to see when it will be added, to no avail

Fantastic Book!
I read this book when it first came out and wanted to hear it again on audio. Jennifer Ikeda has a wonderful voice and I enjoy listening to her. Once again Kelley Armstrong has given us her best!

love these books!
I love Kelley Armstrong writing. I have all of the Darkest power series. I just wish the first 3 books I could get in English on here. also would make a great TV show.
