Light and cute

Im listening to all these books and I am invested! I like the charaters and the storyline. Imagen a group of people who all can see ghosts living in the same community. I love each book, they are fun.

I instantly went bored

From the first word I knew I would be disappointed, but I tried to give it a chance, even through the ridiculous conversations that seemed trivial and so very immature in the grand scheme of things. I wanted a scary story or even a fun, but sometimes spooky story, but instead, I got a lady tracing the genealogy of a ghost to find that he looks like a cousin years or even generations down the line, but apparently could be his twin and another lady wondering how to tell her non believing boyfriend she lives in a house with ghosts.

This book tried hard for humour but for me, it just rambled and was not the least bit entertaining to listen to. I also put it down to the narrator. It was like listening to dubbed international movies where the acting is so bad you spend the entire time focused on how bad it is and can’t even focus on the show until you switch to the original language and just stick to the subtitles.
