Girl on a Cliff is OK

I love Lucinda Riley books. All of them. This however is my least favourite. It is not that I don't like the story, that was good. And it is not that I dislike the narrator...as she has nice inflections and such, I just don't think her voice was right for this book. As well, when she does the "American accents", it sounds like she is drowning in her words. I really disliked those voices, and it made me almost want to skip those parts I was so agitated. Can't say I have ever felt that way before listening to a Lucinda Riley book, and I have heard almost all of them. Even when the narrator was not my favourite, they usually grew on me. Gerri is a good narrator, just not for this book, and definitely NOT for American accents.

Interesting story, but not great

I like when a story connects people from several generations. However, this story is in many parts predictable, and not quite realistic. Also, I didn’t like the ending, it was strange and unnecessary. This is not my favorite book, but it is interesting to read/listen.
